This is a brand new OEM HITACHI HGST SATA II 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive -Bare Drive system pulled from a brand new Apple Mac Mini xxxx model which I purchased a month ago. I'm selling it because I have replaced this original 500GB internal hard drive with a solid state drive first thing when upgrade the mac mini.
Hard drive is in brand new original condition, with an image of Apple OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2. Free feel to format the drive if you are not planning to keep the OS X. This is the ultra slim 7mm model that will easily fit in any ultra notebook or Mac mini. Item will be pack with anti-static bag with padding to secure the item in the package.

This Hitachi 500 GB hard drive has a low profile design and a spindle speed of xxxx RPM. With this smaller size, it can be a direct replacement for a standard 0.3-inch hard drive commonly used in laptops, external storage devices, and gaming consoles. The Hitachi Travelstar Z5K500 has an external data transfer rate of 300 MBps and a seek time of 13 ms. There is a maximum seek time of 25 ms for this Hitachi 500 GB hard drive. The buffer size for this internal hard drive is 8 MB, and the Interface is a seven-pin SATA 3.0 GBps.
